Moissanite
Thousands of years ago, a large meteor flew through the earth’s orbit, bringing with it trace amounts of a rare mineral. In 1893, while examining rock samples from a meteor crater, Henry Moissan discovered these sparkly crystals and mistook them for diamonds, only to realise 11 years later that he had discovered a new mineral - silicon carbide. Years of research went into perfecting a process to recreate this once impossible to replicate mineral in a lab.
Moissanites are renowned for their radiance and fiery brilliance. Due to the faceting pattern and high refractive index of moissanites (refractive index of 2.65 compared to 2.42 of diamonds), they exhibit fiery brilliance, dispersion and luster, outscoring diamonds in all these metrics. They are tough and durable making them ideal for daily wear. Moissanite gems are quantifiably more dazzling than diamonds, and are also available in a broader range of colours to suit your style.
Our moissanites are handpicked for each meticulously created piece of jewellery. With Moissanites, you do not have to worry about negative environmental impacts of mining. As these were born in a lab, moissanites have a much lower impact on the environment, are ethical and more sustainable than any other mined gemstone. Gold
We specifically work with hallmark 18K gold alloys as it has a warm but vibrant tone and is ideal for daily wear as well as special occasions.
Sterling Silver
The hallmark silver alloys we use are made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. We plate our silver jewellery with gold or platinum, for durability and extra shine.
